We came for a couple nights in our ouch and tow vehicle to spend some time near where my wife’s father lived for many years. Corrupt d’Alene is still as lovely as it was 15years ago when our kids spent their summers here. The campground is clean, well organized and has many amenities including free firewood and canoes/kayaks to use! The cabins are cute but we didn’t stay in one so not sure how the insides are. The outdoor community kitchen area is awesome, as are the bathrooms and showers. The staff was very friendly and were always busy tidying up and maintaining the sites. The pull through sites are pretty tight, we were lucky it was quiet and no one was in the site right next to us. Otherwise we would be right on top of each other. Other than that, the smaller vehicle sites are spaced a bit further apart and more private. Overall, very nice place and we recommend it highly.
Oh my goodness, this place is absolutely amazing!! All the accommodations that you need for little kids are there! The cabins are very clean, nice and comfortable. They're cool in the summer with the fans and warm in the fall with the heaters. The campsites are good size with space to spread out and great spots. They have canoes and paddle boat docks to go fishing off of a playground for the kids to play at a swimming pool. Heated showers, bathrooms, games, campfires firewood. The staff was extremely friendly and very very helpful! This is a great place to go if you are trying to plan a family camping activity quickly. Because if you forget anything but even have a little store there full of all the essential items that you might need for your camping trip. As for feeling close to nature we found lots of animals, caught fish and frogs, even a little snake. The kids had a great time playing and exploring nature safely.
My husband and I stayed here with our RV, we loved it! Free firewood, nice cool shade in the afternoon, well maintained bathrooms and facilities. Sadly the pool wasn't operating while we were there, but that's no big deal to us. We'll definitely be back!
What a fantastic site with extremely friendly and helpful staff. We made use of the canoes to explore the water, which was great. The free firewood was ideal and encouraged you to have a campfire. Laundry was clean and the dryers worked very well. The showers/toilets were nice and clean too. To top it all off they have free coffee/tea for you in the morning, always a little bonus.
This campground is conveniently located near 90 in the Wolf Lodge Bay area of Coeur d’ Alene Lake. We enjoyed watching a beautiful sunset over the bay as we arrived. This is not a fancy camp ground, but it was very clean and well maintained. We appreciated so many little details- lots of fun outdoor games, a fire ring that was lit on the patio area, cute patio lights and outdoor games, pretty flowers, and free coffees to start the day today. Last evening we enjoyed watching kids in the paddle boats and canoes having a great time. So much to do for kids. The sites were nice and level with lots of shade. It was quiet and peaceful. The restrooms were clean both last night and this morning. They also have a nice, clean looking pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. They stayed open late and were open early this morning. We had a great experience and if we are ever back in the area we will definitely stay here again.
FANTASTIC campground! Very unique with lots of character - not your typical campground. Cozy cabin options, large RV spaces, and a large variety of different sizes and spaces for tenting. Our family prefers privacy when camping, and we found the perfect spot in #207.
Amenities are amazing - hot, free showers, pool, free canoe usage, games area, free firewood, incredible kitchen area complete with several sinks and elements for cooking. All this plus super friendly staff! We will be back!
I stopped here so I would have a place to walk my dog by the lake. I was able to walk him across the little highway and find a good swimming spot. The swimming right here is a little marshy. The campground and bathrooms were very well-maintained. Wonderful shower the pool could use an update, but it was really nice to have on a hot summer day. The staff was very friendly. There are a lot of kids here and it’s not a place to get privacy. But it serves a great purpose, and I had air conditioning and a place to swim on a hot day.
This place is amazing.. very clean..very well set up...lots to do..nice people..I could go on and on. They have gardens you can pick from, a great pool, laundry, a very nice store, cute cabins...they even have kayaks to use free by the lake there right by you. The area is gorgeous. My advise is if you are in the area check this wonderful place out. I already commented on the manager we worked with on another post when we first got here. But EVERYONE that works here is nice!!! It is a definite 10 out of 10!!
